Description

A bullet journal is one of the wonders of the written word. When used consistently, over time, you find there are no more missed actions, lost quotations, or forgotten appointments and birthdays. Instead, a single notebook keeps track of all your long-term projects, regular writing activities, and even daily life.

Adding a daily journal means that your thoughts and experiences are always available to you, without the need for them to clutter your mind with stuff you need to remember.

In this workshop, we will discuss the advantages of a bullet journal for writers, how useful trackers and what to track, as well as how to get started. Once you are up and running, they are endlessly flexible and adaptable from month to month as you notice what needs to be included and what can be discarded.

Whether you are writing fiction, a regular poet, or even planning a major academic work, the bullet journal is one tool that supports every writers writing life and creative journey.

This workshop is perfect for you if:

  • You love a good list but keep forgetting where it went.
  • You have lots of sticky notes attached to surfaces around the house.
  • You spend too much time looking for that thing you wrote down the other day and cannot find.
  • You have three or more notebooks on the go at any one time, but never have the right one to hand!
