How does coaching work?
It really depends on two things: where you are and the type of coaching we agree might work. I can work through Zoom for regular or one-off sessions or I am happy to meet face-to-face here in West Dorset. Some types of coaching must be done face-to-face, such as one or two-day intensives. In these instances, you will need to book accommodation locally so you can join me on each day.
We focus on what YOU want to get out of our time together. I’m simply a guide who is able to hear what you do and don’t say, and reflect that back to you, often joining dots that may not be immediately obvious to you. I will not tell you what to do, but I may share examples of what has worked for me, or other people I know. The decision to act or not will always be your own.
What will it cost me?
It depends on the type of coaching we agree is appropriate and the duration of that agreement. Typically, a one-hour session will cost £75.
What can you help me with?
I generally work with people who feel stuck in some way, such as in their creative life or their sense of well-being. I also work with individuals who have a specific project in mind related to my particular skillset, for example, self-publishing, marketing their work, building an author platform, or starting a new writing business. Often, people need just a single session to unstick a problem they have.
How do I book?
Before we start coaching we will need to have a brief conversation on Zoom to decide whether coaching is going to work for you or not, and if I am the right person for you to work with. If you fill in the form below I can get back to you with some suggested dates and times for this initial conversation.
